DML who is known for his amazing 3D engines had already shown us his progress in recreating Quake on a standard Falcon. Yet tonight another video showed what seems to be a Minecraft engine, still on a bare Falcon, no accelerator needed. At the moment there is no hint at a public release or further plans but check out the video yourself and show respect to his coding skills!

That's great! I began this to show my 9yo minecraft fan about coding (he is now 13 - and he made the music later in the video) and then it became an Atari project of course :P

Hey Douglas, thanks for posting here, I feel honoured that you actually read us! Your work is just incredible! When I see "running on a stock Falcon" and watch the video, this is just... I am speechless!

Hi, I do try to keep up with news on the site! It is great to have a news feed on all the crazy stuff people are doing with all the old machines. I have missed a lot of things at times when life/work is too busy & I'm not actively coding. I'm not on X/FB and barely active on discord so this is nice to have...

Such a wonderful surprise Doug. I showed this to my son (12 years old) and he smiled big time. He's a true Minecraft fan and he's spent enough time next to me while I've been programming the Falcon to be able to appreciate the effort behind what you've accomplished (did I mention that he's also a fan of Bad Mood).

Hi Daniel thanks for the message about your son - my son is also a big Minecraft fan. It is he who builds the big tree in the video :P ย  I'm not very good so I let him do it!
